Who are we?
Great question!
We are two empty nesters who love to travel, experience as many different things in life, and share our adventures with family, friends, and friends we have not met yet.
We have 5 kids, four boys, and one daughter. The two oldest are married and now we have 5 granddaughters (Lisa is loving all of the girl experiences after all of the boys)
We started this blog by using daily emails back to our family sharing stories and pictures of things many of them may never see. It was a great way to share with our young grandkids some of the fun things other people in the world see but are new to us. Also since they were learning about geography in school we thought it would help them get into other cultures.
As we continued to travel with many other couples, they said they wanted to be included on the distribution list. Then as that list got bigger and share with even more people, we got to a point where emailing the daily update was not practical.
Therefore we enlisted the help of our IT savvy son to help us set up a blog to easily share with everyone and be a resource for other people to follow our movement. This is also a good reference for us to remember all of the fun things we see along the way and entertain everyone who reads it.
